One Planet. One Place.

Codding’s environmental investment philosophy in Community Fuels aligns with goals to advance the use of alternative energy. Community Fuels is a proven advanced biofuel producer and produces among the highest quality biomass-based diesel fuels available. Community Fuels bio-refinery, located at the Port of Stockton in California, has been in continuous operation since 2008 and is one of the largest operating advanced bio-refineries in the Western United States.
Community Fuels sells its fuel in bulk to the petroleum industry, which blends it with petroleum diesel. Their customers include major oil companies, petroleum refiners and some of the nation's largest bulk fuel distributors.
Biodiesel is a nontoxic, biodegradable, renewable fuel that can be blended with petroleum diesel at any level. Biodiesel substantially reduces emissions compared to petroleum diesel. As a domestically produced and consumed fuel, biodiesel contributes to improved national energy security and increased economic development.
